The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in Penfield
When you enter you will find a welcoming community that is devoted to serving God and our community. Incarnation is blessed to have many long-time parishioners who are quick to welcome new comers.
Incarnation has an active music ministry that includes a devoted choir and a talented group of musicians. One of the highlights of our music program was the monthly Evensong services held on the first Sunday of each month.
We have added Evening Prayer on both Monday and Friday evenings that allows parishioners to worship via Zoom throughout the week. There is also a weekly bible study group that gathers to more fully discuss the weekly lessons and gospels.
Post-COVID Incarnation has begun to hold fellowship events that have been well attended by our parish. These have ranged from nights out at local restaurants to Shrove Tuesday Pancake Suppers. There is also a monthly Ladies Lunch Bunch and Grumpy Old Men lunch that is enjoyed by our parishioners.
The people of Incarnation support our local community throughout the year in various ways. Each Christmas we provide gifts for less-fortunate children, at Thanksgiving we hold a food drive for Eastern Service Workers.
Our talented parishioners are quick to volunteer their time and talent for the many committees that are needed to keep our church running like Vestry, Property Committee, Altar Guild, Flower Guild, Acolyte, Lector, Audit, Endowment, Coffee Hour and many more.
